New York Translation Workers Define Science
What is science? To
New York Translation workers, it is nothing more than the isolation of facts
that have been gathered through observations and experiments. Recently, teams of translators at leading New
York research institutions met to discuss the meaning of science. What they came up with is that science is a
discipline that allows the world to be more predictable and more easily
understood. To expand on on their simple
definition, the translation workers defined the scientific method as a process
of questioning, observing and developing explanations. The New York translators also said that science
doesn't have to be about research grants or result in articles but it needs to
rely on the scientific method. As such,
science is a systematic way of learning about the universe.
